Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will met by your Safari Driver Guide for a warm welcome and transfer to your hotel in Kampala. At the hotel your guide will brief you on your safari ahead of time and advise if best to change monies. Check in and overnight at your Kampala Hotel where you are booked on bed and breakfast.
Early morning breakfast and start off the drive to Western Uganda with a brief stop at the Equator. Proceed on to Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Country Hotel. Thereafter drive on to Bwindi Impenetrable NP to arrive in good time for Check in, dinner and overnight.
Start with early morning breakfast. Leave your lodge with packed lunches and head into the Park Gorilla tracking. Rushaga region is located in the southern section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It has several gorilla families which include Nshongi, Mishaya, Busingye, Kahungye and Bweza. The Rushaga sector boasts the highest number of gorilla families and lies between Kabale and Nkuringo coming from either Ruhija or Kampala. The region is dominated by high hills and because of this, habituated gorilla families have kept on separating and subdividing to take up different hills in the region. Because of these hills, tourists who track gorillas from Rushaga tend to enjoy great scenic views and at some points, you can as well see the Virunga ranges in Rwanda and Uganda that include Mgahinga, Muhavura, Sabinyo, Karusimbi, and Bisoke among others. There is Lake Mutanda which is one of the only two lava dammed lakes in Uganda. After the trek return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start with breakfast at your Hotel and check out. Start your journey with a drive back to Entebbe, past Kampala City. Lunch will be on your own before being transferred to the airport for check of your international flight back home with lots of unforgettable safari memories.
